I love smoothies. You don't love smoothies? what's wrong witchu?

I'm going to keep it real with you boss, smoothies are the shit.


So, I'm carrying more weight than I want right now and I can't seem to stop snacking. I thought if I moved to a new place then I wouldn't fall back into old habits but I just like to snack. I love trail mix (Sweet n' Salty me please), Cheez-It (EXTRA TOASTY ME PLEASE AND THANK YOU), peanut butter crackers, and chips when I'm feeling like I need a crunch (right now, I'm into Jalapeno Ranch ruffles thanks to my daddy).


So in order to curb my snack addition, I had the idea to make fruit smoothies. I figured they were healthy enough and great life decision. Here is what I like to make my smoothies with:

1. Frozen bags of mixed fruit as well as fresh fruit (Trader Joe's or the 99 Cent store).

2. Honey (raw or processed) .

3. Soy or Almond milk (Silk brand because I have class).

4. Agave Sweetener.

5. Sliced Pineapples in heavy syrup.

6. Spinach or kale (when I have it).

7. Ice (duh tf).



I put all of these ingredients in our blender and make my smoothies. They usually turn out bomb, a little frothy but bomb nonetheless. I've been making them for pretty much the whole summer and I can totally see myself making them into the fall. I have a fantasy of getting a fancy Nutribullet, making my smoothies, and hopping on the train every morning. They did help me with my snacking for a little while but until I get serious about losing weight, I have decided to snack and drink smoothies. I'm a multidimensional woman.
