Atiya is a PR and Communications maven moonlighting as a pop culture blogger who relocated to the Bay Area from Dekalb County, Georgia, a few years ago. In her time here professionally, Atiya has enjoyed working with cutting edge tech companies that keep society moving forward, including Dropbox, DoorDash, and Ripple.

She launched Tiya's Take in 2018 to express her opinions on different topics ranging from lifestyle to sports to pop culture therapeutically. Tiya's Take is a real and humble platform showcasing your average twenty-somethings triumphs and struggles while documenting the crazy world we live in today.

She currently resides outside of Oakland, where she is still figuring out what she wants to be when she grows up, wondering what Beyonce is doing and questioning where all the black people in California are?
